“Eh, You Gotta Have It” — A Divine Moment with My Son

Sometimes the most profound wisdom doesn’t come from books or deep meditation—it comes in the form of a goofy moment with your child.

Today, my son and I were playing around, doing silly voices and laughing like only two souls fully present can do. In the middle of our fun, one of us said, “Eh, you gotta have it!”—just a random, playful phrase that sparked something. And then, without skipping a beat, my son turned to me and asked with all the sincerity in the world:
“What would you like to have, Dad?”
In that instant, I could’ve answered anything—more money, more time, more opportunities. But instead, something deeper surfaced from within me. I looked at him and said:
“I know what I have. It’s all in Divine timing.”
Even I was surprised by my response.
That moment reminded me that we often chase things thinking they’ll complete us. But when we’re truly aligned, we realize we already have everything we need. It’s not about what we lack, but about recognizing what’s here—right now. The laughter of a child, a curious question, a spark of presence—that’s wealth in its purest form.
I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe in Divine timing. I believe that every moment, every exchange, every breath is perfectly orchestrated—even the weird voices and silly catchphrases. Thank you, angels, for this gentle reminder through the innocence of my son. I heard you.
And to my son: thank you for being my teacher in ways you’ll only understand someday.
