Codex V: Exiting the System – Travel Beginnings
Leaving the system sounds easy in theory. People say, “Just pack up and go.”
But the truth? It’s a mix of panic, survival mode, and soul whispers that say, “Keep going.”
Here’s what I’ve learned in the first steps of my journey.

It’s hard to write something that’s been said a thousand times, but we never believe it until we live it. Step by step, I’ve been pushed out of the system—almost without realizing it.
One of my first discoveries was Revolut, a bank that isn’t chained to one country.Back home in the Netherlands, traditional banks limit you to their borders. Revolut doesn’t. If you’re thinking of leaving, that’s a game-changer.
Then comes the tricky part: addresses. In the Netherlands, your address controls everything—insurance, taxes, and your official registration. You can’t just “unregister” without losing health insurance. And the government still wants to know exactly where you are, even abroad.
I found out that there are services that let you register a mailing address for physical mail only.Who even gets physical mail in 2025, right? But that tiny detail keeps your insurance and taxes from collapsing.
Money matters.
If you plan to leave, make sure you have enough. I started with €5,000, which felt like a lot… until it wasn’t. Between gear, travel, and food, it disappears fast.
A proper backpack? Around €150.
Good walking shoes? The same.
Shelter and food for a month? Easily €1,000 if you’re frugal.
The more money you bring, the easier it gets. And don’t forget travel papers—crossing borders without them is a nightmare. The system makes sure switching countries isn’t easy. You can’t just camp anywhere, and in the Netherlands, even sitting in certain places can get you fined.
One more thing I’ve learned: give yourself at least a week to settle in. New country, new rhythm, new energy—it takes time. Don’t expect to just arrive and thrive. Let your nervous system adjust first.
And here’s the part I have to thank the Divine for: Everything I know now came through experience and alignment, not planning.Even Revolut appeared this way—I found it while chasing a remote job that never even came through. The job vanished, but the bank stayed, and that discovery changed everything.
This is how most things arrive for me: I don’t force them. They just appear on my path at the perfect time. That’s Divine guidance.
The Mental Battle
Physical preparation is only half the journey.
The other half is mental.
I’ve already shared my first morning panic moment, and there will be more. The faster your bank balance shrinks, the faster your nervous system slips into survival mode.
For me, what helps is:
Deep breathing
Accepting the fear instead of fighting it
A one-card tarot draw each morning with the question:
“What energy am I working with today?”
This keeps me steady. These panic moments are shedding old skin, releasing the patterns that kept me chained to the system.
Where I Stand Now
Right now, I have only €1,000 left. That’s about one month of food and shelter.I’m standing at a crossroads:
Continue forward in full trust—in the Divine, my higher self, and my TikTok family to support this mission.
Return to the Netherlands, get a job, save more, and try again later.
It’s a tough choice, but I know this: I am not alone.I trust that the Divine will support me—whether through security, shelter, or the resources I need to keep walking this path.
Reflections / Lessons Learned:
The system is built to make leaving hard—addresses, insurance, and money keep you tied down.
Physical preparation is only half the work; mental and spiritual grounding is the key.
Give yourself time to settle—patience calms the fear.
Panic moments are part of the process. Accept them. They are proof that you are shedding the old life.
Most support arrives without force. What you need appears when the Divine knows you’re ready.
If you’ve ever dreamed of leaving the system, know this: it’s not a vacation—it’s a rebirth.Prepare your body, your mind, and your soul. And when fear comes, breathe, listen, and keep walking.
The Divine always walks with the ones who dare to step out.
