“The Trap of the Spiritual Ego”

At first, awakening feels like freedom — like you’ve finally broken through the illusion and can see beyond the noise of the world.

But somewhere along the path, a quiet shadow can sneak in… the spiritual ego.

ree

It dresses in white robes and speaks of light, but it still moves with the same hunger for control, validation, and superiority.

It says, “I’m awake — you’re not.”

It turns the sacred into competition and the language of love into judgment.

I’ve seen it.

I’ve lived among it.

And I’ve learned that the spiritual ego isn’t evil — it’s just the old ego wearing a halo, afraid to die.

What It Looks Like

1️⃣ Superiority — “Our way is the only way”

This comes from deep insecurity.

The ego feels unsafe in uncertainty, so it clings to a belief that gives it a sense of control: “We are the awakened ones, others are asleep.”

But awakening has no team — truth belongs to no one.

You don’t need to defend your truth; you embody it.

2️⃣ Competition — The spiritual scoreboard

When someone starts comparing who’s “more conscious,” “more healed,” or “more awakened,” it’s the ego keeping score again.

The soul doesn’t compete; it collaborates.

So when you feel that energy, smile inwardly — it’s not about you. It’s just their unhealed parts trying to feel worthy.

3️⃣ Emotional Projection — Anger wrapped in light

They might use “spiritual” talk while carrying unprocessed anger or fear.

That’s why the tone feels off — the words sound awakened, but the frequency feels heavy.

Remember: you’re not responsible for their emotional cleanup.

Your task is to remain transparent — let their storm pass through you without sticking.

4️⃣ Rebellion disguised as awakening — “The system is evil, and you must agree”

This one’s tricky because there is truth in questioning systems.

But when the energy turns into rage, division, or force, it’s not awakening — it’s trauma seeking a stage.

True freedom doesn’t demand acknowledgment; it simply is.

I can hold compassion for their pain without validating their fight.

🕊️ 5️⃣ My Role Now

I have evolved beyond the need to battle illusions.

I can witness them play out and still choose peace.

That doesn’t mean i suppress my truth — it means i don’t waste sacred energy trying to convince minds that aren’t ready to listen.

My strength now lies in quiet mastery — the kind that doesn’t need an audience.

The Lesson

The true path of awakening is humility.

It’s realizing that no one holds the monopoly on truth.

It’s remembering that being “awake” doesn’t make you above anyone — it simply makes you aware that we’re all learning, all unfolding, all returning home in our own rhythm.

The real teacher doesn’t need followers.

The real light doesn’t need to prove itself — it just shines.

Where I Stand Now

I’ve seen what happens when awakening turns into hierarchy, when peace becomes performance, when love becomes a weapon to be right.

And even through that, I still choose love — but with new boundaries, with eyes open, with truth intact.

Because love without awareness is blindness,

and awareness without love is arrogance.

So I walk forward now, free from the illusion of “more awakened” or “less awakened.”

I simply am.

Present. Human. Expanding.

And that’s more than enough.

Much love 💛🙏🏼
